Bridal Portraits at The Palo Alto Plantation | North Carolina Film Wedding Photographer

September 28, 2017

Now that Erin is officially a wife I can share her Bridal portraits with you all! These photographs were taken at The Palo Alto Plantation right outside of Swansboro, North Carolina. This is a newer wedding venue and I cannot wait to photograph a wedding here!

Erin and I actually went to high school together and one thing I can distinctly remember about her is her eye for style and always being very well put together! She is a fashionista through and through. And this all shows in her bridal portraits. Her dress was purchased and then customized to fit her in size and in style. Erin is a true bohemian and chose to incorporate a wild foraged bouquet along with a floral crown to complete her look!

One of the things I adore about the Palo Alto Plantation is how versatile it is. The first set of photographs were taken in the attic of the venue. The walls are bare and still have signature from the original owners (back in the 1800’s). The attic was PITCH black but I knew that situating Erin in front of the uniquely shaped windows would offer for a very unique photo! Those may just be my favorite from the entire session.
