The Tryon Palace is a spectacular wedding venue located in New Bern, North Carolina, and in my humble opinion, it’s deeply underrated! The Tryon Palace is located in historic Downtown New Bern, North Carolina, on the waterfront of the Nuese River. I think one of the biggest benefits of choosing Tryon Palace as your wedding venue is its location. Tryon Palace is within walking distance are dozens of local boutiques, antique shops, restaurants, and historic B&Bs. Historic Downtown New Bern truly feels like a “Little Charleston” in many aspects!
The aesthetic: The oversized iron-wrought gates open up to a beyond the grand facade of the Palace. When you are walking around towards the backside of the Palace, you will be taken through a series of European Style Gardens that lead to a large open space on the waterfront.
