Celebrating One

To celebrate her son’s first birthday, AP planned for an old-world charm-style portrait session. I have worked with AP many times now, from her Baby Shower celebration, photographing a family member’s wedding, her son’s Baptism, and now his first-year-old portraits. For this session, she was inspired by Jamie Beck, and wanted to bring in rich tones with Old-World charm influences.

Not my usual style…

Though I am inspired by all works of art, my photography style tends to be on the brighter and lighter style of tones. But I have to admit, photographing and editing this session for a different tonal style was so liberating and such a breath of fresh creative air!
